The reason why the slurry pump cannot pumping

 1. The display of the vacuum gauge of the slurry pump is in a high vacuum stage.  At this time, you should check:

• a. The suction pipe’s resistance is too large or blocked 
• b. The water absorption height is too high
• c. The inlet valve is not opened or blocked.

 In this way, the corresponding solutions as below.

• a. Improve the design of the suction pipeline or dredging.
• Reduce the installation height.
• Open the valve or dredging.

 2, The pressure gauge of the slurry pump shows pressure, and the directions for checking the cause are:

•   If there is blockage;
•  If the pipeline resistance of the outlet pipe is too large

 Solution is the same: clean the impeller, check and adjust the outlet pipe

3. The pointers of the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge of the slurry pump have been beating violently,

There are three reasons for the analysis:

• The suction pipe is blocked or the valve is not opened enough;
• The water inlet pipe of the pump, the meter or the stuffing box are seriously leaking;
• The water suction pipe is not filled with water

The corresponding solutions are:

• Open the inlet door and clean the clogged part of the pipeline;
• Block the leaking part and check whether the packing is wet or compacted;
• Fill the pump with water

4, The speed of the slurry pump is too low

The reasons for this may be improper installation: the tight side of the transmission belt is installed on the top, resulting in too small wrap angle; the center distance between the two pulleys is too small or the two shafts are not parallel, which may affect the reason for the low speed of the slurry pump.
