As the temperature decreases in winter, the pumps on many occasions stop using it due to temperature. At this time, the maintenance of the pump becomes particularly important.
1. After the water pump stop working, release the water in the pump and pipeline, and clean the external soil to avoid freezing the pump body and water pipe.
2. The bottom valve, bending tube and other cast iron parts of the pump should be brushed with a steel wire brush, and then painted with anti -rust paint before applying the paint. Then put them into a dry place.
3. For the belt driven pump, after the belt is removed, clean it with warm water and hang it in a place where dry and no sunlight. Do not store it in places with oil, corrosion and smoke. In any case, do not make the belt stick to oil substances such as oil, diesel or gasoline, and do not apply pine and other sticky substances.
4. Check the bearing . If the inside and outer set wear, abnormal, roller wear, or spots on the surface must be replaced. Wash the bearings for gasoline or kerosene that don’t need to be replaced, apply butter, and reinstall it.
5. Check whether the impeller of the water pump has cracks or small holes, and whether the fixation of the leaves is loose. If it is damaged, it should be repaired or replaced. If the impeller is worn too much or has been damaged, the new impeller should generally be replaced. Local damage can be welded, or the impeller can also be repaired with epoxy resin mortar. The restored impeller should generally conduct a quiet balance test. Check the gap between the rotation of the leaf to reduce the grinding ring. If it exceeds the specified value, it should be repaired or replaced.
6. Pump shafts with severe bending or wear should be repaired or replaced, otherwise it will cause imbalance in rotor and wear related components.
7. The unloaded screws are soaked in diesel with steel wire brushing, and oil or butter is applied to reinstall it or wrapped in plastic cloth (can also be stored in diesel) to avoid rust or loss.
