How to repair the water pump? It can be seen from the water pump maintenance diagram below that the usual water pump can be maintained, such as water pump leakage and pump impeller damange. The pump leakage is likely to be a non -tight cause of the nuts during installation. If the leakage is not serious, you can apply cement or cement slurry in the leak. The pump impeller rotation is relatively light with a honeycomb to perform the pump leaf rotation.

Here are some tips to repair the pump

Question 1: The pump cannot be started

Reason: The packing are too tight or the impeller and the pump are blocked by something; the bearings, pump shafts, leakage re -rust; severe bending of the pump shaft, and so on.

Maintenance method: Loosen the packing, clean the sink; open the pump body and remove the debris, and carry out rust removal; remove the pump shaft for correction or replace the new pump shaft.

Question 2: The pump capacity not enough 

Reason:

a: Air leakage on the inlet pipe or the bottom valve. 

b:The water inlet is blocked

c:The depth of the bottom valve is insufficient

d:Water pump speed is too low

e: Impeller damage too much

f: Suction water over the standard

Maintenance method:

Check if the absorption pipes and bottom valves blocked  and if so remove the mud or block at the water inlet; the depth of the bottom valve into the water needs to be greater than 1.5 times the diameter of the water inlet pipe. After the power supply voltage increases the speed of the pump, the sealing ring or impeller is replaced; the installation position of the pump is reduced before replacing the high -head pump.

Question 3: The pump can not absorb water

Reason: There are air on the pump or on the water inlet pipes, or the bottom valve is not closed. Insufficient water is irrigated, the vacuum pump filler leaks, and the gate valve or valve is closed.

Maintenance method:
1. First put the water pressure and then fill the pump body and then boot. At this time, check whether the inverse valve is tightly, the pipeline and the joints have no air leakage. If you find that the air leakage can be applied to the lubricating oil or blended the paint at the joint and tighten the screws.

2. Check the oil seal of the pump bearing.  If the wear is severely, the new accessories should be replaced.

3. The pipeline leaks or air. It is very likely that the nut is twisted tightly during installation. If the leakage is not serious, you can apply cement or asphalt oil to mix with the cement slurry where the air is leaking or leak. Temporary repair can apply some wet mud or soft soap. If you leak water at the connector, you can tighten the nut with a wrench. If the leakage is severely needed to be re -disassembled, the tube with cracks is replaced; the raising range is reduced and the pump’s mouth is pressed to 0.5mm underwater.

Question 4: No water coming out

Reason: The pump body and the water absorption pipe are not filled; the water level is lower than the water pump filter pipe; the water absorption pipe is broken etc.

Maintenance method: Exclude the failure of the bottom valve before filling the water diversion; reduce the installation position of the pump to ensure that the water filter pipe will be pumped at the water level or waited for the water level; Or replace the inlet pipe.
